Welcome to the online gallery for Peter Close Sculpture.

Peter Close is a sculptor working in the South West of England, He has been sculpting for 20 years and has recently launched a new series of sculptures entitled "Legends of Racing".

During his career Peter has created sculptures for Greenpeace and The Whale and Dolphin Conservation Society.

In 1994 his life size steel sculpture Integral was selected for the prestigious Royal West of England Academy Exhibition.

His most recent commission from Donington Park Racing is a portrait bust of Mr. Tom Wheatcroft founder of Donington Park and owner of the Donington Grand Prix Collection.

Every sculpture is made to order by Peter in his studio.
