Bronze Wild Rabbit Sculpture Clover

This beautifully detailed bronze rabbit sculpture captures the alert and agile character of a wild rabbit in its natural environment. Sculpted by British artist Peter Close, “Clover” portrays the rabbit poised and attentive, ears raised as if listening for movement in the surrounding countryside.

The sculpture is produced using the cold cast bronze technique, combining real bronze powder with resin to create a sculpture with the appearance, weight and rich patina of traditional bronze. This process allows fine detail to be captured in the rabbit’s fur and delicate facial expression.

The pose conveys both energy and stillness, reflecting the natural behaviour of wild rabbits when they pause to observe their surroundings. The subtle texture of the fur contrasts with the smooth curves of the body, creating a sculpture that feels both lifelike and timeless.
